Why does your sperm count go up when you don't wear underwear?

Or when you sleep naked?

Sperm is produced better in colder temperatures, so you might be a little chilly without your gitch on or when you're nude.
But all that extra sperm that is collected during the day would be ejaculated when you sleep. I wouldn't sleep naked if I were you haha. That would be a mess to clean.

Sperm production is best when the temperature of the testes is cooler (about 1 degree) than body temperature. That is why the scrotum's skin reacts so effectively to changes in temperature (gets thin and droopy when hot and gets thick and tight when in cold water/temp.)So if you WANT best sperm production to impregnate, wear lose /no underwear. Note: that is for "sperm" (the little tadpoles that impregnate); that doesn't mean for high production of the liquid (semen).

No constriction and its cooler. I wear underwear but sleep naked and it feels freer.

The urban legend about briefs lowering sperm count was tested in the 1990s and turned out to be false. But old myths die hard. People keep repeating that because they haven't kept up with the science.

Going commando will not increase your sperm count and will just make you feel uncomfortable. :o

However, spending a lot of time in hot tubs can be harmful to fertility.

There's nothing wrong with sleeping naked, but it will not increase your sperm count.
