Along with that, he wanted me to do an HSG to check for blocked tubes. He wouldn't prescribe medications till we had some testing done. With the sperm analysis, he wrote out the order, gave us a list of labs to drop off the sample at, and gave us the cup and instructions. He said to do the sample at home and drop it off at the lab within one hour of doing it. So, I suggest to start by asking the dr you're already seeing.
