i don't know about the sperm count but I know for sure that the quality of sperm is lower if man smokes! it is advised for couples who are trying to conceive man should quit smoking at least 2 weeks before trying. good luck!
It may. That's not the only health concern though. I don't mean to sound preachy, but if he smokes around you while you're pregnant, you might as well smoke unfiltered cigarettes because of the 2nd hand smoke. And if he smokes around your baby, he/she might end up with asthma, poor circulation, heart problems, etc. Hopefully he stops smoking altogether. The process of stopping may make him irritable, so maybe you should wait until he's done completely before you start TTC.
