From my last question you can tell we are trying to conceive baby # 1 but had a question regarding sperm count. I'm trying to make the best of the small window that is open for conception, so I heard maybe you shouldn't engage in intercourse everyday because it could lower your chances of getting pregnant? Is this true, and how long of a wait should there be? I just hoped you could try each day for a certain amount of time and hope you did on the day you ovulated..but I guess not if it lowers sperm count?

I've heard that if you have sex too often then it is pointless (unless you find it fun!) because his sperm can only regenerate so quickly, therefore the count would be lower each time. Generally they say every other day around ovulation time is sufficient to keep a steady supply of sperm in there.
This website is awesome at explaining…It takes a man 1 to 2 days to replenish his sperm count but you should not go any longer than that or the sperm become stale….have a look…hope this helps
