my boyfreind and i had sex last night and its about two weeks after my peroid. so is this wen my cycle starts or wat?? i dont really understand the period cycle which is strange since iv had my period for 4years well any way, he pulled out before he was going to come and then i rubbed him quick n he came. the thing is we been using the pull out method for over 10months and i have not fallen preg once. we uauallly only have sex thou the week straight after my period. but now we had it 2 weeks after, does that mak a difference?(cos of my period cycle n that) he also smokes alot and does drink and has a pretty bad diet(althou that doesnt seem to effect him much) and i read that those things can result in having a low sperm count. so what im asking is, is this stuff that i think i know true and could someone please explain the menstrual cycle and wen its the safest to have sex and what do you think the chances are of me falling pregnant???

The pull-out method is notoriously unreliable, since live semen are released long before orgasm. I would suggest you either use condoms, get on the pill, or get him a vasectomy.
Firstly, if you want to have sex the only 'safe' time is when you are using contraception. Most women ovulate around 2 weeks after the end of their last period and obviously this is when you are most fertile. However, all women are different. I fell pregnant 1 week after my period had finished.
As for the pull out method. It is not safe at all!!!
My aunt and uncle used the pull out method (for religous reasons) and they have 7 children………
Also, as for the drinking and smoking, yes it can lower the sperm count, it does not kill them completly! Maybe this is how you have avoided falling pregnant for this long. Are you honestly prepared for the month you fall pregnant?
If you don't want to fall pregnant go and get yourself on birth control and make your boyfriend use a condom!
menstrual cycle is every 28 days.,when you have your period that will last for 3 to 5 days. the last day will be the start of counting. for example. you had period in 1 2 3 4and 5, the next 5 days which is 6 7 8 9 and 10 are safe.
