a friend of mine and her hubby are trying to conceive. her husband smokes everyday, maybe more than once a day. she was told she will have trouble conceiving because of her husband .is this true?

My partner and i are trying to conceive. He is quite a bit older than me. he had his children with his ex about twenty yrs ago. Could something have happened to lower his fertility since then. I have been pregnant before with my ex and I have been checked out fully. Is it poss he could have a blockage and not know it? obviously not all women deserve to marry such a man.
