Male Infertility question?

My boyfriend told me his doctor confirmed with him years ago that he can’t have children. His past 2 relationships he was un-able to get the woman pregnant and finally his doctor tested him. My question is, is male infertility something that can heal on it’s own like a guy can go 6 years of being infertile than all of a sudden get someone pregnant?

It depends on what type of infertility, About 10% of couples have fertility problems and the problem is with the man, just as often as it is with the woman. If you want to have kids, you should have sex in your fertile days (starting about a week after the end of your regular period). But then again, you may be pregnant already.

It depends on what type of infertility he has. Sperm can increase, but not always.

    It really depends…

I would need more information. If he’s "shooting blanks" then there’s not much you can do. If he has low sperm count or motility then if she’s overweight….he could exercise and build muscle tone which would increase testosterone and help.

    It depends on the problem.
In some cases like low sperm count or poor motility or even deforemed sperm then there are ways to byasss it and concieve with help though it is unlikley he will just heal.
In some severe cases though there may be nothing that can be done.
    Good luck.

Male infertility question?

We did one of those home male fertility tests and my hubby says the color is lighter but i say its not, we wanted to know 2 things. how do you get a sperm analysis done and where do you do it? Do they really put you in a room with porn and a sticky magazine and expect you to masterbate til you get the sample? second question is this, my hubby was riding a bike with no seat when he was like 8 and he hit a tree root and the bike pole where the seat would go hit him in the testicles. he has a really bad scar from it and there is no pigmentation on it and the scar is rough and bumpy. Could this have hurt his sperm or made him infertile? I am so scared he is infertile since we are trying to conceive our first child…

He should really just go see the dr, from what I've heard the infertility tests aren't really accurate. He may be able to produce the sample at home and bring it in to the dr office right away, but different dr's may have different ways of doing things. Make sure he also tells them about the scar

He really needs to go see his doctor. They will arrange the testing. My husband was able to do "it" at home and then I took the sample to the doctor's office to be analyzed. Have him go to the doctor to be sure his sperm are swimmers. They will also analyze the "quality" of the sperm he is producing and look for any abnormalities in it, that can also cause infertility.

my husband went and done his before we started ttc. what they do is, they examine you in the dr. office and they give you the sample cup to bring home, when you have your sample, you immediately bring it to the lab for testing. my husband had problems when he was younger also, that is also another rason we had his tested.
    good luck-
