Male Infertility and drug use?

My wife and I have been trying to have a child for some time now. I went to a fertility doctor and he told me that my sperm count was zero, but all my blood work was normal which usually means that I am producing sperm but they are not able to get out. I used to use coke pretty heavily for several years and drank a lot.
I have stopped all that and have been clean for nearly 1 year now. My questions is could my immature lifestyle lead to my infertility and if so is there any chance that I can regain this.

    I don't know about coke.. but in MJ, it makes your sperm become aggressive and dies too early. Here are some tips for you about conceiving.
