How does drinking affect male sperm count?

I'm ttc but I it has been 5 months. I'm not one to tell my husband he can't have a drink while we are trying. He likes to have his after work drinks at night before he goes to bed How much affect does alcohol have on his sperm count. I know he won't stop drinking all together, but maybe I can convince him to only have a few or not at all when it around ovulation time. Any studies out there to help me out.

I think so. But unless he drinks excessively, I don't think that would be a problem
