Well if he is a boyfriend and not your husband you don't need to be hoping his is more fertile. I am not a prude who says you shouldn't have sex if you aren't married.. but you absolutely need to have a legal commitment if you want kids. With that said, nicotine has some effect, but not much. Look around trailer parks where everybody smokes 3 packs a day of Basics and pops out kids like their ain't no tomorrow. Smoking in general is bad for you, on many different levels. But serious changes to sperm count on a relatively low amount of smoking.. no.

yes, the nicotine kills blood cells witch don't let sperm get enough stuff, so not as fertile

i think he should stop smoking completly because it will hurt him alot it will give him lots of bad diseases and it can kill him slowly and even if it says no tar, and no tobacco it still has nicotine and nicotine is very bad for anything it kills things very slowly so ur boyfriend should stop smoking completly if he stops now he will be saving his and friends' and ur life from the things that can happen friends and ur heart will be broken and he will be dead so please try to help him stop before it is too late.

yes, smoking affects fertility, it lowers sperm count and causes impotence. Most of the time it does not make people sterile or anything. He should quit for health reasons, so he has a greater chance of living to see the kids go to college.
