Other present symptoms are an elevated prolactin level (had MRI, not a tumor), high count of immature and/or white blood cell count in his sperm, frequent urination, general malaise causing him to sleep 10-12 hours per night in order to feel rested the next day, cystic acne (mostly during teens and early twenties), quite intense and unprovoked temper "tantrums" which leaves him (and the rest of us) feeling absolutely drained, depression, and temperature regulation problems (his description of how this feels sounds very similar to hot flashes). The elevated prolactin causes lower amounts of dopamine and testosterone which are what is more than likely causing low sperm count and depression/anxiety. We are wondering if his pituitary gland may have been damaged while he had meningitis and are awaiting an endocrinologist appointment to hopefully learn more. He has been to two urologists but no real answers.
Any similar situations out there for men who had meningitis? Any suggestions or input, especially from men in similar circumstances and/or their wives? Thanks!

I don’t know a whole lot about this, but what i do know is a person who has had it CAN (not do) develop irreversible complications anything from asthma to brain damage.
The only way your going to get answers is of the doc tbh!
Best of luck.
