Can a man have no sperm count if he already has a child? and if so, what causes that to happen?

increase low sperm count

My husband and I have a 11 year old and have been actively trying to get pregnant again for the past 2 years. My husband is in the military and has been home for a solid 3 years now. We have had difficulties getting pregnant and we just found out he has a "no sperm count". Is that possible even though he already has a child? and if so, what causes that to happen?

  1. The Robster says:

If he hasn't had a vasectomy, both tubes must have somehow become blocked. Therefore he produces semen with no sperm.

  2. Sky says:

Blocked tubes are the normal cause of this happening.
But there can be an other cause too:he does produce no more swimmers.
Have tests done and ask advice.
Best of luck:you could always consider the sperm bank:no one need to know.

If you were my wife and we had kids and I have no sperm count, I would be asking you alot of questions.

Heat will decrease the amount of sperm in the semen. Tight underwear is often the problem for a lot of men, boxers can help solve this problem. The testes are descended from the body to avoid the heat of the body. Let them be loose, and see what happens. Explore possible side effects of any medications being taken, review medical history with MD such exposure to x-ray, chemotherapy. But do try to avoid tight, constricted underwear that keep the testes close to the heat of the body.
